For more than two years, a dog named Lucy has been waiting at a Pennsylvania animal shelter, hoping for the chance to have a family of her own. Lucy was taken in at the Pennsylvania SPCA in May 2017 and during the hundreds of days that followed, nobody has chosen her as their own.
Shelter staff is hopeful that Lucy’s Christmas miracle will happen soon!
Information about Lucy’s personality has been provided on the shelter’s website:
This girl has a big personality, big smile, big fun and a big heart. When she loves you, you feel it from head to toe! She is a top-notch snuggle Queen. She came in through our Humane Law Enforcement in May of 2017 with her Sister Bella. She has made quite a few friends here at the shelter and has amused everyone with her silly antics! She enjoys learning new things and is looking forward to learning more with her forever family, she also likes agility! She likes car rides and swimming in the creek. She is a “bone-a-fido” treat critic and won’t hesitate to let you know when a treat is sub-par. She loves to play dress up and is open to meeting other dogs to live with.
According to her biography, Lucy is not a fan of cats and she can be wary of unfamiliar men. Somewhere out there is the right person for Lucy – please share her information and help make her Christmas wish come true.
